Mosquitoes and Sunny Breezes

Do you recall those days of summer? When the soft wind blew warmly across sunny green grasses, making them sway and shimmer like a great green ocean, sitting right in your own backyard?
Or the way the water rippled in the moonlight, as the waves lapped up against the shore, softly gifting the sand with a shiny blue kiss.
Or maybe you spent your time under a tree, quietly reading a book and munching on a delicious red apple. Perhaps a goat was nearby, calling to you, but you ignored her as you pondered thoughts of clouds and dreams, sighing with pleasure as you recounted past frolics and contemplating future frivolities. Maybe you watched a spider scamper up a tree nearby and studied the ants as they scurried about, trying to make everything in their little colony safe.
Or perhaps you put on your best dress and danced in the rain, letting your face and hair get soaking wet, laughing with joy as you capered about on the slippery moist grass.
Maybe you ran down the road, trying very hard to catch a butterfly, yet secretly hoping you don't because it looks so free and colorful amongst the flowers that grow by the wayside.
You stop in your chasing and pause to smell the roses, then pluck some clover and thyme, then idle back to your dainty cottage in that nearby meadow, find a vase with water, and set up your new-found centerpiece, and set yourself down to wait for the stars to come out so you can stroll amongst the trees listening to the night sounds of crickets and the occasional hoot of an owl, or the call of far-off songbird, just settling down for the night.
You wish you could stay out in the cool air, just staring at the moonlight playing with the distant castle in the air that appear so vividly in the darkness, but you know somewhere there is someone who wishes you were near, so you glide back to that person, and you smile and bring back the sunlight and the moonlight and the breeze of summer makes every sad look turn happy, and you sense the fairies and fawns and wood-elves and centaurs as they make their mid-summer parties by the light of magical lamps and dance to the sound of their silent music as you fall asleep dreaming of roses and clover, sunshine and warm breezes, and whisper to yourself a lullaby of mystical rhymes and whimsical fantasies.
